ON THE SCENE: REALTY CHECK

The largest residential adaptive reuse project of its kind in South Florida, The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Miami Beach made its much-anticipated debut with a spectacular party. The event gathered more than 600 guests and VIPs including New York Mets Hall of Famer Mike Piazza, Italian architect Piero Lissoni, Bravo’s Million Dollar Listing New York realtor Fredrik Eklund, as well as Miami-based real estate developers Edgardo DeFortuna, Jules Trump, Ugo Colombo and Michael Comras.

The evening kicked off with opening remarks from Lionheart Capital’s CEO and founding partner Ophir Sternberg. This was followed by a cocktail reception on the complex’s half-acre pool deck, model residence tours and sensory art installations by Klip Collective. These showcased the project’s trajectory from an old hospital into a Ritz property through a series of light projections that responded to architectural features with color, pattern and motion.
