Putting on the Ritz
Perhaps what makes a stay at The Ritz-Carlton so enticing is that when you’re at one of their properties, your experience – from the service to the bedding – is so decidedly different from your day-to-day back home that you want to stay awhile longer. To that end, how many times have you returned home from a stay at a Ritz and softly avowed that you wish you could move in and live there forever? Now you can.
South Florida welcomes the newest demonstration in tropical modernism with The Villas at The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Miami Beach (pricing available upon request). The Ritz-Carlton, in a partnership with Lionheart Capital, created The Villas as a neighborhood in mid-Miami Beach composed of 15 single-family homes. Designed by famed Italian architect Piero Lissoni, the two-to three-story Villas encompass floor-to-ceiling windows with ocean views, custom kitchens and baths, and private roof terraces, as well as three-car garages. Best of all: The Ritz-Carlton and its famed penchant for pampering guests extends to residences of The Villas.
“This was a unique way to marry single family-home living with services and management by The Ritz-Carlton,” says Lionheart Capital CEO Ophir Sternberg. “Working with a legend like Piero Lissoni was tremendous. We love his design.” Lissoni’s homes are light and modern, like glass sculptures with luxurious water features. Sternberg says that Lionheart Capital likes to focus on one-of-a-kind properties, and The Villas certainly qualifies. “This project will be difficult to replicate,” he says. “It’s hard to get a company and a brand like The Ritz-Carlton to manage single-family residences. This is a one-in-a-million opportunity.” 305-953-9500. Theresidencesmiamibeach.com
